About Lapser Studio
Lapser Studio is a macOS app for creating timelapse recordings of your work. You start a session from the menu bar, capture the screen, a webcam or an iPhone through Continuity Camera, and control the capture interval so a long work session becomes a short video. An activity monitor can pause recording automatically while you are inactive, and CPU use is kept low for long sessions.
Editing happens inside the app: you pick from more than 40 backgrounds or add your own, set gradients, blur and rounded corners, scale and pad the recording, and position the webcam overlay. Exports range from 720p up to 4K as MP4 or MOV files, with presets aimed at web, social and studio use, aspect ratios such as 16:9, 9:16, 1:1, 4:3 and 3:4, and frame rates from 1 to 120 fps.
Processing is local: recordings stay on your device, with no cloud uploads or accounts. The app is also listed on the Mac App Store. Instead of a subscription it is sold as a one-time lifetime license, with volume licenses for teams on request.
