Terms of use. Short and plain.

The ground rules for using Enlisted: what the directory is, what we can and can’t promise about listings, and what to expect from sponsored placements.

Using Enlisted

Enlisted is a free directory of open-source and SaaS tools. By using it you agree to these terms. Please don’t scrape it at a rate that harms the site, attempt to break or overload it, or use it to send spam. Machine-readable copies are published at /llms.txt, /feed.xml and /sitemap.xml.

Information on the site

Listings combine public data (GitHub activity, licences, vendor pricing pages) with our own descriptions. We work to keep them accurate, but they can be out of date or wrong. Check a tool’s own website before you rely on its price, licence or features. Nothing here is professional advice.

Third parties

Tool names, logos and trademarks belong to their owners; listing a tool doesn’t mean it endorses Enlisted or the other way round. Links to other sites are provided for convenience and we aren’t responsible for what you find there.

Submitting and claiming listings

If you submit a tool or claim a listing, you confirm you are allowed to, that what you send is accurate, and that we may publish it on Enlisted. We review every submission and may edit, decline or remove a listing. Ask us to correct or remove one at any time at enlisteddirectory@gmail.com.

Advertising and sponsorship

Ads and sponsor placements are labelled. Buying a placement buys visibility in that spot, never a better rank in the directory. Sponsors are responsible for the claims in their ads.

No warranty

Enlisted is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the extent the law allows, we aren’t liable for losses arising from your use of the site or from decisions made using its information.

Changes and contact

We may update these terms and will change the date above when we do. Questions: enlisteddirectory@gmail.com. See also the privacy policy.
