Zoomr: features, pricing and alternatives

About Zoomr

Zoomr is a screen recorder built as a Chrome extension, so it works on Windows, macOS and Linux. Its distinguishing feature is live zoom: you right-click to zoom into any detail while recording, and you can draw and annotate on screen at the same time, so the video comes out polished without an editing pass. It also has a screenshot zoom tool that turns a screenshot into a video, a built-in editor and unlimited MP4 and WebM exports. It works offline, is private by default and needs no account to start.

The Free plan has no trial or expiry and adds a small watermark to exports. Pro Lifetime is a one-time $19.99 payment with no watermark, custom branding with your own logo, all themes including frames, backgrounds and transitions, cloud share links, GIF and PNG export, saved projects, background music and priority support, backed by a 30-day money-back guarantee.
