RetainCue

RetainCue is a retention tool for SaaS companies that bill through Stripe. Instead of pointing a cancel button at a plain confirmation, you point it at a hosted RetainCue page. The page asks the customer why they are leaving, shows an offer matched to the reason, such as a discount for a number of billing cycles, a free cycle or a pause, and lets them keep the subscription or continue cancelling.

Setup is a link swap: the page your cancel button points to changes, with no frontend work, no SDK and no change to how you bill. When a customer accepts, the offer is applied to the live subscription via the connected Stripe account, and each outcome is stored as a separate state: displayed, accepted, processing, applied or failed. What a customer sees depends on the reason given and the rules you set per project. Without a Stripe connection, or for an unsupported subscription, the page still collects the cancellation reason.
