About PrettyMD

PrettyMD is a desktop Markdown viewer built for people who work with AI coding agents such as Claude Code, Codex and Cursor. It renders the specs, plans, skills and agent files those tools generate, so they are easier to read than raw text in an editor or a notes app.

You point it at a file or a folder and it lists only the .md files inside, fully rendered, including Mermaid diagrams and code. You can highlight a line and leave a comment that your agent picks up, replies to and acts on, and the app highlights what changed since you last looked, so you read only the new lines.

Reading aids include a sidebar, an outline, tabs, search, light and dark themes, focus mode and keyboard shortcuts, and it works fully offline. It costs $19 once with free updates, and a 7-day free trial needs no credit card.
