About Munder Difflin

Munder Difflin is an open-source multi-agent harness for running an office of coding agents on your own laptop. It wraps the terminal agents you may already use, including Claude Code, Codex, Gemini CLI, Antigravity, Grok, Kimi Code, Qwen, OpenCode, Crush, pi.dev, Cursor and GitHub Copilot CLI, and also accepts your own API keys and local models. It works with the subscriptions you already pay for, within their usage limits.

Every agent has long-term memory, a mailbox of its own, and a desk placed on a 2D office floor, and a lead agent playing your clone, named Michael, routes work between them while you watch avatars at work. The app is built with Electron, React, TypeScript, Pixi.js, xterm.js and node-pty, and runs on macOS, Windows and Linux. Version 0.5.3 adds local dictation into any app and local meeting transcription.

The project is MIT licensed and was created in May 2026. The README also advertises a Pro annual plan with a launch price of $150 USD, adjusted by country, so there is a paid tier alongside the free open-source build. It is aimed at developers who want to coordinate several coding agents at once.
