About Agentation
Agentation is an agent-agnostic visual feedback tool for working with AI coding agents. You click elements on your running page, write notes about what should change, and copy structured output that helps an agent locate the exact code you mean, instead of describing the element in words.
A toolbar appears in the bottom-right corner of the page, and clicking it activates annotation mode. You can paste the copied feedback into Claude Code, Codex, Gemini, Grok or any other AI tool. For direct synchronization, you can add the agentation-mcp server to your MCP client and point the toolbar at its HTTP endpoint, so the agent can read annotations on its own. The project is written in TypeScript.
The repository license is listed as 'Other', so confirm the terms for your use. Agentation runs in your own development environment. It suits front-end developers and designers who give UI feedback to coding agents and want it to be precise.
