About Pastely

Pastely reads what you copied and which app you are pasting into, then delivers the format that fits. It lives in the menu bar and works from one hotkey, Cmd+Shift+V, with a preview where Return pastes and Esc cancels, so the clipboard stays untouched until you commit.

The site shows several workflows. Copying a messy table, CSV, JSON or SQL export and pasting into Google Sheets produces neat labeled columns. Copying an email or document and pasting into WhatsApp, iMessage or Slack rewrites it as a message in your voice, and text typed in the chat box acts as the prompt. Copying a CV and pasting into an online form fills every field, and copying code and pasting into Cursor, VS Code or Xcode converts it to the language of the file.

It runs on Apple Silicon and Intel Macs with macOS 13 or later, is free to start with four free transforms, and a Windows version is on a waitlist. The site stresses that there is no dashboard or browser tab, just the hotkey and a result, and that more workflows are coming soon.
