About TypeBoost
TypeBoost brings AI editing into the apps you already use. On a Mac you select text, press a global shortcut, choose an action such as fixing spelling and grammar, improving an email or translating to German, and the result is inserted back in place. On iPhone it works from a custom keyboard in any app. You can enter a quick custom instruction or dictate with Voice Mode, and AI dictation turns speech into clear text.
A granular diff shows every change the AI made and lets you revert individual edits while keeping the rest. TypeBoost describes itself as unopinionated: you write your own prompts, pick your preferred models and reuse workflows, and your prompts and history sync between the Mac app and the iOS keyboard. A prompt library, documentation and support are provided.
The product is a downloadable macOS app with an iOS companion, and you can get started for free, with plans in a pricing section. It is published by a company called palmio, and the site also has pages for an iPhone grammar checker, AI dictation and an email improvement workflow.
