About AIHOT
AIHOT is the open-source framework behind an AI news site that finds trending items and writes a daily digest. Each day it collects material from a list of sources, uses a large language model to screen it and score it independently twice, then writes titles and summaries in Chinese for the items that qualify.
Reports from different sources about the same event are clustered together and ranked by how many sources discuss it, and a daily report is produced every morning. The repository contains the website, admin back end, curation pipeline, clustering and heat-ranking algorithms, and the full text of all prompts and selection thresholds. It includes 18 public overseas AI news sources as samples, and you replace them with sources for your own industry.
The author explains that it is a snapshot of production code, built with AI help by a designer rather than a professional developer. It is MIT-licensed and designed to be self-hosted, and it suits people who want a topic-specific news aggregator.
