About PACE
PACE turns a phone into a GPS speedometer for people who enjoy driving. A live speedo shows smoothed GPS speed with a colored needle, a top-speed marker and custom speed alerts, switching between km/h and mph. Routes are drawn live and color-coded by speed, and any trip can be replayed afterwards with elevation and distance per leg.
Each trip is summarized with its top and average speed, distance, duration, elevation gain and a driving rating, and there is a lifetime overview as well. Social features show friends' live locations, a trip feed with likes, nearby drivers, a community map of live drivers and events, group convoys with shared map and chat, and a proximity chat for nearby drivers.
Extras include Apple CarPlay, Apple Watch support, crowd-sourced speed cameras with audio warnings, weekly challenges with XP and badges, a drift mode, and privacy controls such as privacy zones and ghost mode. The app is free, with an optional Pro tier at 3.99 euros per month or 29.99 euros per year.
