About BoardSpy

BoardSpy is a commuter app that watches your usual route and warns you before you leave. About 30 minutes ahead of your departure time it sends personalized traffic and weather alerts, along with best-route checks and detour notices, so you can decide when to go.

You set your route once and it runs on working days. The app also ties into Google Calendar with leave-by reminders and meeting alarms, and the website publishes best-time-to-leave guides for many US cities. A separate feature surfaces time-sensitive local deals gathered from social feeds.

BoardSpy is available on iOS and Android as a hosted commercial app. The site advertises a free plan with no credit card required and says it works worldwide, but it does not list paid plan prices.
