About NotchMomo

NotchMomo, shown on its site as Momo, turns the MacBook notch into a small animated companion with tools behind it. On hover you get a focus timer with Pomodoro, countdown and stopwatch modes, named notes with search, pinning and text export, a file shelf where you drag files in and out while originals stay put, and an opt-in clipboard history for text and images.

Momo has a personality you can customize: styles named Companion, Classic, Round and Cat, six colors, four sizes and twelve expressions such as happy, focused, sleepy and surprised, with a pause-motion option. It runs on macOS 14 or later on Apple Silicon and Intel, works on Macs without a notch and is notarized by Apple. A paid licence is required, and version 1.1 added more room for tools and more ways to personalize it.
