About Mock Chats

MockChats creates chat-story videos for TikTok, Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts without filming or editing. You type each message and choose who sends it, adding emoji, reactions, voice notes, images and typing dots so the thread reads like a real conversation.

You then dress the screen up with contact names, profile pictures, a wallpaper, a dark or light theme and read receipts, and the tool renders the video by animating messages in one bubble at a time. The output is a vertical clip ready to post, with styles modeled on WhatsApp, iMessage, Hinge and Bumble. The page frames the format as fiction-based chat stories that keep viewers watching until the last message. It is a hosted web tool that is free to start with no credit card.
