About Adobe Premiere Elements

Premiere Elements is Adobe's entry-level video editor for consumers. It is meant for people assembling holiday clips, family videos and other personal projects, and it leans on automation and guidance rather than the full professional toolset found in Adobe's flagship Premiere Pro.

The software combines AI tools and automated editing with Guided Edits, which walk users through common techniques step by step. It also includes ways to organize a video library and share finished movies, so beginners can build skills while working on real projects.

It is commercial desktop software. The current edition is offered as a three-year term license, and the product suits home users who want a guided experience instead of a professional toolset.
