About Wowza
Wowza provides video streaming infrastructure for people who build video into their own products. Its flagship Wowza Streaming Engine is a media server that can be deployed in the cloud, on premises, in a hybrid setup, at the edge or in air-gapped environments, with low-latency delivery.
The product line also includes the Wowza Video Intelligence Framework, which turns live video into automated actions on infrastructure a customer already owns, and Wowza Flowplayer OVP, a fully managed cloud platform for live and on-demand video. Documentation, an API reference, test players and a community are provided for developers.
Wowza highlights solutions for monitoring and surveillance, including public safety and smart cities, and for events and entertainment, including sports, corporate communications, media and faith-based streaming. It is a commercial product with a pricing page; costs are not summarized here.
