About Cemu
Cemu is an emulator for the Nintendo Wii U console. The project says it can run most Wii U games and homebrew in a playable state. It is written in C and C++ and under active development, with new features and fixes added regularly.
It is available for 64-bit Windows, Linux and macOS. Windows users can choose an installer or a portable build, Linux users can also get it from Flathub, and releases are posted on GitHub. The native macOS build is described as experimental, with known performance problems related to MoltenVK and Rosetta on ARM Macs. Companion resources include a compatibility list, a setup guide, language files and community graphic packs.
Cemu is licensed under the Mozilla Public License 2.0, with exceptions for the dependencies directory and a few individual source files that carry their own licenses. Bugs go to GitHub Issues, an older bug tracker remains online, and the project is reachable through a subreddit, Discord and a Matrix server.
