About Apex Legends

Apex Legends is a free-to-play battle royale shooter from Respawn Entertainment, published by Electronic Arts. Squads drop into a large map, loot weapons and gear, and fight until a single team remains. Each player picks a Legend, a character with its own set of abilities, which shapes how the squad approaches fights and positioning.

The game is supported by a seasonal structure with a battle pass, a store, a news section and player statistics, and the official site promotes the Apex Legends Global Series for competitive play. It is distributed for Windows through the EA app, Steam and Epic Games Store, and it is also listed on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox and Nintendo Switch stores. Limited-time events and crossovers, such as a Street Fighter 6 collaboration, add new cosmetics and map changes.
