About WhatsWrapped
WhatsWrapped takes a WhatsApp chat export file and produces a recap of how people in the conversation talk. The file is read and analyzed in the browser on your own device, with no upload endpoint, and the chat exists only in memory, so refreshing the page loses it. The site says it stores only your email, your remaining credits and a record that a recap ran with the message count, not who was in the chat or what was said.
The recap has twelve slides, and each one explains what was counted and what was excluded. For a pair it covers who said more, reply times, top emoji, signature phrases and words, and a final slide on who leans in more, based on factors like who starts the day, double-texts and replies faster. Group chats get a separate deck with a leaderboard of who carries the chat, who stays quiet, the roles people fall into and group reply time. Share images can be posted, and the site is available in English and Italian. The first recap is free, including every slide and share image, and later recaps for other chats are paid.
