About Parlai
Parlai is built around conversation instead of word lists. You pick your native language, the language to practice and your current level, then talk with Luna, an AI coach who adapts to your level, remembers your interests and is available around the clock. You can type, send voice messages or share a photo, and corrections arrive instantly.
The app offers 30 languages and several ways to practice: chatting with Luna, a Quiz section to build vocabulary, and calls for speaking practice, with progress shown in Profile and Progress views. Proactive messages through the day encourage short bursts of practice of a couple of minutes. A free 5-minute assessment of 12 questions estimates your CEFR level and shows what to improve next.
It runs without a download, on a phone or a computer, and the product also has a version for companies, with the lack of any installation presented as a selling point. You can start for free without a credit card, and paid plans are listed on the pricing page.
