About Memrise

Memrise is a language learning app for people who have a specific reason to learn, such as passing an exam, speaking confidently at work, building relationships or exploring a culture. It presents itself as authentic, useful and personalized in contrast with heavily gamified apps.

Lessons draw on video clips of native speakers and spaced repetition to help vocabulary and phrases stick. The site lists a very long range of languages, from widely spoken ones such as Spanish, French, Japanese and Korean to smaller ones such as Welsh, Latin and Yoruba, and even constructed languages. The page is available in many display languages.

Memrise is a hosted commercial service with accounts and logins. Specific plan prices are not given in the available input.
