About OpenResty Manager
OpenResty Manager is a modern web-based server control panel and an open-source alternative to OpenResty Edge and Nginx Proxy Manager. It helps secure and publish reverse-proxied websites running at home or on the internet, handling access control, denial-of-service protection, identity authentication and automatic application and renewal of free SSL certificates without needing deep knowledge of OpenResty or Let's Encrypt.
Beyond proxy management it offers host management with a web terminal and file manager, an application store based on Docker Compose and container management, multi-node management for administering several servers at once, and distributed CDN caching so you can build CDN clusters. Security features include HTTP flood protection and multiple free certificate protocols with automatic renewal.
It installs on a host or in a container, and servers behind cloud firewalls need TCP ports 80, 443 and 34567 opened. OpenResty Manager is written in Go, licensed under AGPL-3.0, and also lists topics such as home server and sysadmin tooling comparable to 1Panel and Webmin.
