About Mumbly

Mumbly is a dictation app for macOS. You speak and it writes the text into whichever app you are using, such as Notion, Slack, Cursor, Linear, Figma or Safari, with no extra plugins. Its voice models run on your device, so it works offline in more than 100 languages.

It tries to grasp what you mean and strips pauses, uhms, filler and repeated words out of the text. It also learns your own vocabulary, such as company jargon, names and client names, so those come out correctly. The site claims speaking is about four times faster than typing. Privacy is a central point: by default your voice and transcriptions stay on your device, and any servers are hosted in the European Union. The site is available in English, Dutch, German and French.
