About MangoHud
MangoHud is an overlay for Vulkan and OpenGL applications that displays performance metrics in the corner of the screen. It reports frames per second, temperatures, CPU and GPU load and more, and is mostly used by Linux gamers and benchmarkers to see how a game is running in real time.
The overlay is configured with environment variables or a config file, with the options MANGOHUD_CONFIG, MANGOHUD_CONFIGFILE and MANGOHUD_PRESETSFILE, and has keybindings and workarounds for different setups. It can also log FPS data, which can be uploaded to FlightlessMango.com for online visualization or viewed locally with mangoplot. The documentation includes a table of metrics supported by each GPU vendor and driver.
MangoHud is written in C and licensed under MIT. It can be built from source using Meson and Ninja, with 32-bit builds for older games, or installed from pre-packaged binaries on GitHub releases, from Arch, Debian, Ubuntu, Fedora, Solus and openSUSE repositories, or as a Flatpak.
