About mailbox.org

mailbox.org is a German email provider that has grown into a digital workspace for private users, businesses and public bodies. It combines mail with cloud storage, video conferencing and online office tools, and its site, available in German, markets the bundle as a suite.

The vendor stresses data protection: data is kept in certified German data centers, encryption is available for stored and transmitted data, and the service claims GDPR compliance and checks against ISO 27001 and BSI C5. It also states that its infrastructure runs on renewable electricity, and it highlights spam filtering in each inbox.

mailbox.org is a hosted commercial service with a trial offer, aimed at people and organizations that prefer a European provider over large US platforms.
