About iCloud Mail

iCloud Mail is the email service that comes with an Apple iCloud account. It provides an iCloud email address that can be used to view and send mail on the web at iCloud.com as well as in Apple's Mail app on iPhone, iPad and Mac.

Because it is part of iCloud, mail syncs across a person's Apple devices, and it sits next to other iCloud services such as storage, contacts and calendars. Signing in or creating an Apple account is the way to get started, and the web interface lets users handle mail from any browser.

iCloud Mail is a hosted service operated by Apple and cannot be self-hosted. Storage is shared with the rest of iCloud, so heavy users may need additional paid iCloud storage. Little more is available from the page content gathered for this entry.
