About Magnet

Magnet is a window manager for macOS that keeps a workspace organized by snapping windows into tiles. It can be driven by dragging a window to a screen edge, by customizable keyboard shortcuts or from the menu bar.

Dragging to a corner snaps a window into a quarter, side edges create halves, the top edge maximizes and the bottom edge creates thirds, which can be extended to two thirds. It supports up to six external displays and adjusts its layouts for vertical screens. The goal is to line up several windows side by side so a user can copy, compare and multitask without constant app switching.

Magnet is a commercial Mac app distributed through the Mac App Store, where updates are delivered free of charge.
