About Locu

Locu is a daily planning tool that combines a focus timer, a minimalist task list and notes. It can import and two-way sync tasks from Jira and Linear, hold subtasks and rich-text notes, and show a calendar timeline with meeting notes so you can plan the day in a few minutes. Work then happens in focused sessions, with the timer, an apps and websites blocker, full context for the current task and floating notes.

Because work happens in sessions, time tracking comes with it: you can review sessions by day, week or month, see time reports and focus insights and export to CSV or PDF. The app is described as designed around 90-minute deep work cycles and aimed at engineers, freelancers and other knowledge workers.

Locu is available for macOS, Linux, Windows and the web, and is in public beta. No credit card is required to start, and a limited offer gives 30 percent off for as long as you stay. A pricing page lists the plans.
