About Litlyx

Litlyx is a web analytics tool that tracks visitors without cookies and presents the results on a simple dashboard with AI assistance. It positions itself as an alternative to Google Analytics, Mixpanel, PostHog and Plausible, and says setup takes about thirty seconds. The project describes itself as GDPR compliant and fully self-hostable, and it is aimed at site owners and product teams who want privacy-friendly analytics.

After you add the tracking script or install the litlyx-js package from npm, it automatically records page visits, real-time users and unique visitors. You can send custom events with attached metadata, including from cURL for testing. It works with modern JavaScript and TypeScript frameworks such as React, Vue, Angular, Next.js and Nuxt, and with WordPress through a script-injection plugin.

You can sign up for the cloud version and connect with your workspace ID, or self-host the dashboard using the Docker images published on Docker Hub. A self-hosted instance appears on port 3000, and the tracking script can be pointed at it through host, port and secure attributes. The project is licensed under Apache-2.0.
