About Keen Explorer
Data Explorer is an open-source web interface from the Keen IO team for querying and visualizing event data without writing queries by hand. Analysts build queries through a point-and-click interface and see the results as charts and other visualizations.
The component can be customized when the application instance is created: you can override the visualization theme, set a default IANA timezone for new queries, disable timezone selection, turn off filter suggestions, replace the translation files served from a CDN, and change the threshold for the extraction confirmation dialog. A PubSub interface also lets a host page control it dynamically, for example to open a new query editor.
It is written in TypeScript, released under the MIT license and built with yarn and Node 10 or newer. It suits teams that use Keen's analytics API and want an embeddable exploration interface inside their own product or internal tools.
