About Hejour
Hejour is a day-based notes app for Mac with an iPhone version. Every day is a page, and typing @ opens a day menu so you can leave a note on tomorrow, next Monday or any date. The same note appears on both days and can be edited from either, never as a copy.
Today's calendar events sit above your note, and clicking one inserts its time and title as a heading to start meeting notes; calendars are read-only and stay on your Mac. Typing [ ] makes a checkbox, unfinished todos roll forward to today and complete back in their original note, and a time such as 15:00 in a line offers a reminder. A writing streak flame counts consecutive days, tolerating one missed day, and a command palette finds anything.
The app is a free download notarized by Apple, with a Pro upgrade that is one purchase across Mac and iPhone. Sync runs through iCloud with no Hejour login or server, and the site links a GitHub page, a blog and an FAQ.
