About Heartbeat Hero

Heartbeat Hero is an interactive CPR training app for iOS. Step-by-step lessons with quick quizzes cover CPR basics, emergency recognition and techniques for adults and children, and the vendor says the core course can be learned in under 10 minutes.

Rhythm training gives real-time feedback on chest compression timing against the 100 to 120 beats per minute range, depth practice uses the iPhone's sensors to build muscle memory for compression depth, and an AI emergency simulator practices a 999 or 911 call under realistic pressure scenarios. All training works offline.

The app is free to download for iOS. According to the site it won a prize at a mobile app hackathon and was selected as a winner in Apple's 2024 Swift Student Challenge, and a contact form is provided for partnerships with educators and organizations.
