About Gumpbox
Gumpbox is an SSH client for Apple devices that adds an AI layer. It provides multitab SSH terminals, SFTP, tunnels and server monitoring, and its built-in localhost MCP bridge lets Claude, Codex and other MCP clients work on your servers without being handed private keys, which stay in Apple Keychain behind biometrics.
Agents can run commands and interactive programs such as vim or htop in a tmux session you watch live, drive a real browser on the server with each step streamed to a viewer, and request file transfers that only run after you approve them. Other features include a fleet health dashboard of CPU, memory and disk, agent memory across sessions, reusable skills and workflows, and disposable Docker and gVisor sandboxes.
The app is free to download, with a PRO upgrade at 19.99 dollars as a lifetime purchase and a 34.99 dollar one-time boilerplate that includes the full source. The site links to source code, demos and a Discord server for support.
