About FlareCare

FlareCare is a tracker for people with IBS, IBD, Crohn's disease, ulcerative colitis, food sensitivities or sensitive digestion. You log a bowel movement in a couple of taps by Bristol Stool Scale type, record symptoms, meals, hydration, medication, stress, flare notes and lab results, and each day gets a green, yellow or red color for a quick view.

A camera feature scans a meal, names the ingredients and flags FODMAP trigger risk, and over time the app compares meals, symptoms and bowel changes so repeated timing is easier to see. A 30-day PDF report can be handed to a gastroenterologist at an appointment, and an assistant can answer questions about your logs. The site includes a gut guide with articles and a FAQ. FlareCare states that it is not a medical device and is meant to keep better notes between appointments. Pricing is not stated on the page.
