About BowelApp

BowelApp is a gut health tracker for iPhone from developer Patrick WB Gerrits. It is built for people living with IBS, IBD or sensitive digestion, and for anyone who wants to understand patterns in their gut, with the goal of showing which foods line up with rough days.

You log a movement on the Bristol Stool Scale in one tap, optionally adding urgency, pain, blood, mucus or a note. Meals are logged as quick text with food tags, and you can record sleep, stress, exercise, hydration, illness or travel. The app compares your frequency with research-based ranges and, after a couple of weeks, your own baseline, with an eight-week chart and symptom trends. A Sources screen cites where each reference range comes from.

Everything stays on the phone with no account or sign-up. The App Store lists it as free with in-app purchases. It is a tracking aid, not medical advice.
