About Ferdium
Ferdium is a desktop application that brings the web services you use into a single app, so messaging and other tools can be managed in one place. It is a hard fork of Franz that adds features and removes restrictions, and it is built by the community.
Services can be arranged with Workspaces, a Todos list can stay open alongside them, and the interface can be restyled through a custom.css file in the user data folder. Ferdium works with existing Franz accounts, and scripts for PowerShell and Unix shells help users migrate a Ferdi profile. Downloads and an FAQ are on ferdium.org, and builds are also attached to GitHub releases.
The app is written in TypeScript and licensed under Apache-2.0. Contributors are directed to the contribution guidelines for setting up a development machine, and screenshots on the site show messaging services, workspaces and the Todos feature.
