About CTRL Micro

CTRL Micro makes an iPhone or iPad act as a tactile control surface for a Mac and for desktop AI clients. You install a Mac host app and pair it with the companion from the App Store, and the phone then shows open agent tasks, displays their responses, and lets you step in when an agent needs input, without sitting at the computer.

The interface draws on Apple's Taptic Engine along with sound, light, and multitouch input to feel physical. Voice dictation is transcribed on the Mac, so audio stays local with no cloud transcription or extra subscription. Other controls open apps, adjust volume, and trigger Siri, and a remote desktop view offers a live Mac screen with trackpad and keyboard input, nearby or from afar. It supports Codex, Claude, and Cursor, and custom clients can be built for other tools. The developer says it is independent and not affiliated with OpenAI or Work Louder.
