About 4ga Boards
4ga Boards is an open-source kanban board system for realtime project management. It aims for a simple, uncluttered interface that makes the most of wide screens, and updates appear in the web app without reloading the page.
Boards are organized in a multi-level hierarchy of projects, boards, lists, cards and tasks, with collapsible lists and sidebar to save space. Other features include a dark mode, an advanced Markdown editor, board export and import, keyboard shortcuts, multitasking that lets you edit cards while filtering or rearranging the board, sign-in through Google, GitHub, Microsoft or generic OIDC, and interface translations in more than a dozen languages. A two-way GitHub sync is listed as coming soon.
The recommended deployment is Docker Compose, with Kubernetes, TrueNAS and manual installs also documented, and the app uses a PostgreSQL database. 4ga Boards is licensed under MIT, and the team offers a Professional Hosting service for people who prefer not to run it themselves, along with a demo and donation links.
