About Writing9

Writing9 is an online service for IELTS candidates that checks a submitted essay in a couple of minutes. It returns a band score along with a detailed report listing your strengths, your weak points and how to improve, so you can find weak areas and fix mistakes essay by essay. The stated goal is to help writers reach Band 7 or higher, with practice that fits a week of preparation.

Feedback covers grammar mistakes and clarity of ideas, and the service suggests better words so writing sounds more natural. For writers who run out of ideas, there are templates and ideas for any IELTS topic. The site also offers sample essays, a list of latest topics, a search, and bonus tools: a free English speaking course, an IELTS speaking simulator and a free eBook for writing.
