About Voys
Voys is a voice note app that turns what you say into written text laid out like a chapter of a book, with dialogue inside quotation marks and paragraphs in place. It is meant for dictating diaries, memories, stories and novel drafts rather than typing them. The site is written in Turkish and currently invites visitors to join a beta.
There are two modes. The offline command mode is free: you speak the punctuation yourself with commands such as comma, period, question mark, new paragraph or in quotes, and everything is processed on the device without an internet connection. In the natural mode you speak freely, then move the raw text with one tap to your own ChatGPT or Claude account, which formats it as a book chapter.
Voys says it does not require an account, uses no server and does not track you, so notes stay on the phone. Speech recognition runs on the device and currently works for Turkish only, with more languages planned. The text is saved to disk at every paragraph, and the writing keeps its place if you pause to think. Chapters can be edited, copied and taken anywhere.
