About Testlar
Testlar is a web assessment workspace where tests can be generated by AI, written by hand or imported from a file. The AI builder turns a prompt, images or a PDF into up to 50 questions, and supported question types are multiple choice, true or false and open-ended. Existing question banks can be brought in through CSV or JSON.
Each test has its own controls, including timers, retakes, identification and a strict mode. A published test is shared through a direct link or a join code, attempts are graded automatically, and scores come with question-level results that the creator reviews from one dashboard. Separately, a public library of published mock tests can be searched by subject and topic and previewed before starting, with physics, mathematics and MDCAT mock exams as examples. The service says it is free to start with no subscription.
