About SideNotepad

Side Notepad is a Chrome extension that opens a rich-text notepad in the browser's side panel, so notes can be written while staying on the page you are reading. It uses a Quill editor with formatting such as bold, lists and code, autosaves to the browser, works offline without an account and keeps the notepad one keystroke away.

The Pro plan adds cloud sync across devices over Supabase Realtime, full-text search with highlighting and ranked snippets, a web dashboard on sidenotepad.com with the same editor and priority support. When upgrading, the user chooses whether to upload existing local notes or keep them separate. Pro is priced at $4.99 a month, $10.99 a quarter or $39 a year, through Dodo.
