About SessionRoll

SessionRoll is a hosted tool for game masters that turns a seed (a name, phrase or random word) into a one-page session prep sheet with a strong start, scenes, NPCs, factions, clues, encounters, rewards, loose ends and consequences. The same seed gives the same prep, so it can be reopened later, and everything on the page can be edited.

You pick a system and setting, enter a seed and edit the sheet. A free account allows three prep sheets, while Pro adds unlimited generations, unlimited cloud saves, access from signed-in browsers and PDF downloads. The site is explicit that it does not replace a virtual tabletop and does not generate maps, roll dice, hold character sheets, make tokens, serve as a rules reference or act as a live AI game master, and it suits groups that play on Roll20, Foundry VTT, Owlbear Rodeo, Discord or at a physical table. Guides and a quiz are also on the site.

Key features
