About Seerr
Seerr is a free, open-source application for managing requests for a media library. People who use a home media server can browse titles, ask for movies or shows that are missing, and let an administrator approve the requests, all through a web interface that also works well on phones.
It integrates with Jellyfin, Plex or Emby, including sign-in and user import, and forwards approved requests to Sonarr and Radarr. A library scan keeps track of which titles are already available. Requests can be made for individual seasons, a granular permission system controls who can do what, and notification agents report on activity. SQLite and PostgreSQL are both supported as databases, along with watchlisting and blocklisting of media.
The project is written in TypeScript, released under the MIT license and distributed with Docker support. It is the successor path for people who use Overseerr or Jellyseerr, and a migration guide plus a release announcement explain how to move over. Documentation lives at docs.seerr.dev, with community support on Discord.
