About RustRover

RustRover is a commercial IDE from JetBrains designed for Rust development. It is meant to cover the whole cycle of writing, testing, debugging and deploying code from a single application.

Editing features include context-aware completion and generation, on-the-fly analysis with quick-fixes, smart refactorings and live templates. The IDE can install rustup, apply compiler-suggested fixes with one click, and take care of routine steps such as adding new files to main.rs or popular crates to Cargo.toml. It highlights inferred types, macros, cfg blocks and unsafe code, and offers quick access to language and crate documentation. Tests, run configurations, debugging and profiling are built in.

RustRover is proprietary software that the vendor says is free for non-commercial use, with a demo available for organizations and paid licenses sold through JetBrains.
