About RouteSketcher

RouteSketcher is a web tool for creating GPS art: running, cycling or walking routes that form a shape or picture when viewed on a map. You sketch a shape on any city map, the tool snaps the line to real streets, and you get a GPX file to follow on a watch or upload to a fitness service.

You can draw freehand, pick from hundreds of ready-made shapes in a GPS art directory, describe a shape for an AI doodle generator to draw, or upload a photo and have it auto-traced into a route. Routes can be fine-tuned by removing mistakes and adding finishing touches, and exported to Strava, Garmin, Komoot and other apps. Finished designs can be published to a public directory so others can run them, and the editor works on phone, tablet or laptop. Pricing is stated as a one-time payment, and a free start is available.
