About ResourcePlanner
Resource Planner is a web tool for planning team capacity. Managers schedule people onto projects in a Gantt-style timeline with drag-and-drop and adjustable zoom levels, and can see at a glance who is fully booked, who is over capacity and who is on time off. Planned hours show up per person and per project next to the schedule.
Time tracking lives in the same workspace, so planned work can be compared with what was actually done. Users can start a timer from the header, log completed time by hand and attach entries to projects or tasks, while managers can see which team members have active timers. Calendar, list and timesheet reports can be filtered by person and project, and actual time can be exported to Excel.
Access is role-based. Members can be limited to their own assignments or shown the whole team, and they manage only their own time off. Managers create projects, team members and assignments, and can be allowed or blocked from seeing financial information. Customers get a limited view of selected people and projects, and admins manage everything. Vacation management is part of the same product.
