About PlantMD

PlantMD acts as a plant doctor. You take a photo and it identifies the plant, names the specific problem such as fungal leaf spot, gives a health score and a confidence rating, and lists treatment steps you can start the same day. It covers diseases, pests and care problems such as too much or too little water, missing nutrients, fungal infections and excess or low light, across houseplants, garden plants, herbs, vegetables, shrubs and trees.

Guided care builds a weekly schedule for your whole collection, with watering, feeding and check-in tasks timed to each plant, and friendly lock-screen and push reminders. The site recommends clear, well-lit photos of the affected leaves for the most reliable results.

The app costs nothing to download, and your first scan is free without an account. Premium is a subscription that removes the scan limit and adds the full care features, with no trial that converts automatically and cancellation possible at any time.
