About overthere

overthere helps you find your car by keeping a visual memory of where you parked. You take a photo of the spot, and the app saves it together with an automatically recorded location pin so you can walk back without stress. You can capture several views of the same spot and add notes for context.

A reminder timer notifies you before your parking expires, which helps avoid surprise charges, and widgets for the home screen and lock screen show your parking information without opening the app. Images are deleted automatically after 7 days, and a parking location can be sent to friends or family in a few seconds.

The app states that all data stays on your device and that the developer collects no data. It runs on iPhone, supports several languages including Chinese, Japanese and Malay, includes a dark mode, and is free to download with in-app purchases.
