About Orchard
Orchard bridges AI assistants and the native apps on a Mac. It runs from the menu bar and exposes 52 tools across 11 Apple apps to ChatGPT, Claude, Codex, Cursor or any MCP client. Everything runs locally on the device, with no cloud service and no open ports, so commands like scheduling a meeting or sending a message are carried out by the apps already on your Mac.
There are three ways to connect. An Agent Skill can be installed from the app for ChatGPT Desktop, Codex, Claude Desktop, Claude Code and Craft Agents. An orchard command-line tool provides scriptable subcommands with JSON output and needs no AI at all, for example reading unread mail or fetching weather. And orchard mcp is a stdio MCP server offering 52 tools, 11 prompts and 18 resources.
Covered apps include Reminders, Calendar and Clock on the free tier, with Mail, Apple Music, Notes, Messages, Maps and others on the Pro tier. Orchard requires macOS 13.0 or later and is offered as a free download with a separate pricing page.
